Growing Up

Edison...Edison , Edison. The school Ive gone to for 4 years. This school has changed just like i have changed over the years. It’s quite amazing how i was a young depressed child to now a God loving, caring, and good young man. I’ve learned a lot about life. I had many life changing moments and it’s all lead to this; God used many people to teach me things whether negative or positive. I have lost many friends and made a lot of friends to having God in my life , they passed away, and or they just left. These people in the photos above have made a key impact in life. It’s going to be hard to leave them but it says in the Bible Luke 10:27 “ And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” ” and in Luke 14:26 “ “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.” What God is trying to say is that we have to love him more than anyone else anything else and even ourselves ( Plus hate is a sin and everything in the bible can’t be taken literally there’s a more deeper meaning that you get when you ask for the Holy Spirit to be with you ). I know this is going to be hard to leave people, leave Rochester, and leave everything i know but it has to be done God has a purpose for me to be a pastor so it’s time , time to live my life and move on with the Lord who created all of us and to minister. I left my mark here and though i walk into this world with uncertainty i have to trust the Lord for it says in Proverbs 3:5 “ Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”

Freedom is not what the world preaches about freedom , Freedom is in Christ the one who died for our sins so these spiritual blinders can be removed if we so accept him as our Savior. The freedom we have in Christ doesn't allow us to go back to the very thing that leads to spiritual death but yet to live and be like him and serve others for 1 Peter 2:16 says “Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.”and in Romans 6:22 “ But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.” True freedom is being slaves of God see are definition of freedom has been destroyed ever since Adam & Eve sinned against God now we come to the conclusion that freedom is whatever we want to do and that we determine whether it’s right or wrong and if it makes us happy etc. and that’s simply not true. When i say slaves of God look at Romans 6:18 “And, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.” So once you repent of your sins, admit Christ as your Savior, get baptized as a showing of your faith (As you do more things closer to God the blinders come off quicker and quicker until eventually it’s gone), then you will experience the true freedom of which are father that dwells in heaven has for you and the spiritual blinders that this world has put on you will come off.
