He's Here
This Project started out kind of a hassle do to the fact that i didn't have a functioning phone nor did i have a camera in my possession, that made me a bit frightened. I used my mom's phone to take the first three photos in this Project entitled "He's Here", "Grey", and "Textured Steps". These photos were taken around my lovely community."He's Here" was taken of a sundown and a fading blue sky this photo was entitled "He's Here" to express my love God and Jesus Christ this photo really expressed how dark the world is with the bottom part of the photograph dark and the beam of light at the top right of the photo resembling that he is the light of the world. The photograph "Grey" really explains the meaning of contrast and humanity oddly enough because the lightness represents perfection the darkness represents mischievousness and or deceit the grey is where we lie we are not too perfect not too imperfect we are imperfect and that's what makes us perfect."Textured Steps" was a photo that insisted on pushing the fact of nature's smoothness and roughness with the rocks and the pebbles; the silkiness of the grass plus the cement that is making my path using lines and sense of movement with my feet really brought this photo some really meaningful depth. The rest of these photos were taken using Ms.London-Gardener’s Nikon Camera. The first photo I took with the Nikon camera was called “Unique Tree” simply do to the fact the tree had a circle that you can see right thru also these tree’s are outside are very school down the hill near the bus stop ;see i love the the sense of movement with the bus in the background leading you to look back at the trees the contrast between the snow and the trees also the peaks of grass in the snow adding depth and feel.”Art Of Snow” was a photo i did some touching up to give the photo the drawing element to make it appear like it was a piece of art and not a photograph this photo illustrates my love for the smallest views or vista we take for granted i love the contrast and the foot steps leading you back into the center of the photo.”Jesus Name In Snow” was again inspired by my love for Jesus I edited the photo because there wasn't enough light to turn black and white: The way the contrast works with the texture is amazing to me and it's definitely one of my favorite photos of the project. The photo “Molly’s” is called molly’s mostly because that is the name of the store in the photograph plus is where i go to get a good sub or two but anyway i love the car how it directs your eye too the store and the other cars:i love the slight out of innocuousness giving it the imperfectness that are kind of constant in my photos. The photo “Flying In The Distance” was inspired by ZoĆ© Cavaro a photographer in the app Flickr the way she demonstrated the beauty of birds and human beings and just above all everything she takes a picture of is really beautiful and unique i really love her work. The photo “Close To Nature” expresses my love for nature and the softness of the trees in the background details how i look at nature as beautiful relaxing sensitive place where God’s art is displayed not as torture as the world assumes it to be: I love the contrast the soft texture that replicates my opinion on this photo. The rest of these photos were really nostalgic and represents a painful moment in my life that eventually had a lesson to be learned but anyways this project was just not about where i live but about my life and although these photos aren't the best in the world they break rules such as innocuousness, cut offs etc they make me who i am as a photographer and a person.
