Growing Up

Edison...Edison , Edison. The school Ive gone to for 4 years. This school has changed just like i have changed over the years. It’s quite amazing how i was a young depressed child to now a God loving, caring, and good young man. I’ve learned a lot about life. I had many life changing moments and it’s all lead to this; God used many people to teach me things whether negative or positive. I have lost many friends and made a lot of friends to having God in my life , they passed away, and or they just left. These people in the photos above have made a key impact in life. It’s going to be hard to leave them but it says in the Bible Luke 10:27 “ And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” ” and in Luke 14:26 “ “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.” What God is trying to say is that we have to love him more than anyone else anything else and even ourselves ( Plus hate is a sin and everything in the bible can’t be taken literally there’s a more deeper meaning that you get when you ask for the Holy Spirit to be with you ). I know this is going to be hard to leave people, leave Rochester, and leave everything i know but it has to be done God has a purpose for me to be a pastor so it’s time , time to live my life and move on with the Lord who created all of us and to minister. I left my mark here and though i walk into this world with uncertainty i have to trust the Lord for it says in Proverbs 3:5 “ Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”

What is freedom?

Breeze

Path

Nature

Light Of The World
Tree Of Life
Happiness

Green Leaves
Earth & Heaven

Freedom is not what the world preaches about freedom , Freedom is in Christ the one who died for our sins so these spiritual blinders can be removed if we so accept him as our Savior. The freedom we have in Christ doesn't allow us to go back to the very thing that leads to spiritual death but yet to live and be like him and serve others for 1 Peter 2:16 says “Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.”and in Romans 6:22 “ But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.” True freedom is being slaves of God see are definition of freedom has been destroyed ever since Adam & Eve sinned against God now we come to the conclusion that freedom is whatever we want to do and that we determine whether it’s right or wrong and if it makes us happy etc. and that’s simply not true. When i say slaves of God look at Romans 6:18 “And, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.” So once you repent of your sins, admit Christ as your Savior, get baptized as a showing of your faith (As you do more things closer to God the blinders come off quicker and quicker until eventually it’s gone), then you will experience the true freedom of which are father that dwells in heaven has for you and the spiritual blinders that this world has put on you will come off. These photos represent freedom in what God creates and symbolism of Freedom & Happiness in God.

Mobile Photo Award Inspiration

The Light Of God Shines
This photo was taken by mistake but great masterpieces come in the form of mistakes. This photo really represents my always so curious personality.Using the filters on my mother's phone i really enjoyed playing around with different effects.

Nature Of The Hidden Frog
In this project i illustrated the idea of portraits with animals ( not on purpose but eh here you go). Many of these animals God created and we as his ultimate creations never really get to appreciate them as fellow creations of God.These animals are so beautiful in there own way they have there own personality, some are serious and some are fun.I looked at these animals and think to myself wow this is amazing but sad because there caged for our own entertainment but besides the sad truth i took these photos with a mild sunny day, but it was tremendously cold. Most of these shots were took with cages in front of them so the rule of thirds wasn’t displayed at it’s best ability because i couldn't catch the animal at a good angle.I loved how i caught some of the texture of the body of these animals and the applied movement as well. These animals are beautiful and have so much purpose just as we do so let’s appreciate/love what God has made.

In this project I kind of took street photography to a new meaning in way it wasn’t really street photography in way it was more personal than that. Many of these photos have a deep conceptual meaning that I was trying to project toward various crowds of interest. In one photo I have a Bible and a PS3 controller it was entitled “The choice is yours” it basically means that do you choose the world over God or God over the world it’s really up to you. Some of these photos were really mistakes and ey I learned that mistakes can be the best art, this was really the case with a photo called 43.4 I was trying to get the camera up and it flashed rather quickly plus I wasn’t trying to get looked at by the driver while doing it as well but it made a great photo so. I love that this project really projected my love for photography and God that everything we do in him will always be successful/blessed beyond are wildest of imaginations.

He's Here

This Project started out kind of a hassle do to the fact that i didn't have a functioning phone nor did i have a camera in my possession, that made me a bit frightened. I used my mom's phone to take the first three photos in this Project entitled "He's Here", "Grey", and "Textured Steps". These photos were taken around my lovely community."He's Here" was taken of a sundown and a fading blue sky this photo was entitled "He's Here" to express my love God and Jesus Christ this photo really expressed how dark the world is with the bottom part of the photograph dark and the beam of light at the top right of the photo resembling that he is the light of the world. The photograph "Grey" really explains the meaning of contrast and humanity oddly enough because the lightness represents perfection the darkness represents mischievousness and or deceit the grey is where we lie we are not too perfect not too imperfect we are imperfect and that's what makes us perfect."Textured Steps" was a photo that insisted on pushing the fact of nature's smoothness and roughness with the rocks and the pebbles; the silkiness of the grass plus the cement that is making my path using lines and sense of movement with my feet really brought this photo some really meaningful depth. The rest of these photos were taken using Ms.London-Gardener’s Nikon Camera. The first photo I took with the Nikon camera was called “Unique Tree” simply do to the fact the tree had a circle that you can see right thru also these tree’s are outside are very school down the hill near the bus stop ;see i love the the sense of movement with the bus in the background leading you to look back at the trees the contrast between the snow and the trees also the peaks of grass in the snow adding depth and feel.”Art Of Snow” was a photo i did some touching up to give the photo the drawing element to make it appear like it was a piece of art and not a photograph this photo illustrates my love for the smallest views or vista we take for granted i love the contrast and the foot steps leading you back into the center of the photo.”Jesus Name In Snow” was again inspired by my love for Jesus I edited the photo because there wasn't enough light to turn black and white: The way the contrast works with the texture is amazing to me and it's definitely  one of my favorite photos of the project. The photo “Molly’s” is called molly’s mostly because that is the name of the store in the photograph plus is where i go to get a good sub or two but anyway i love the car how it directs your eye too the store and the other cars:i love the slight out of innocuousness giving it the imperfectness that are kind of constant in my photos. The photo “Flying In The Distance” was inspired by ZoĆ© Cavaro a photographer in the app Flickr the way she demonstrated the beauty of birds and human beings and just above all everything she takes a picture of is really beautiful and unique i really love her work. The photo “Close To Nature” expresses my love for nature and the softness of the trees in the background details how i look at nature as beautiful relaxing sensitive place where God’s art is displayed not as torture as the world assumes it to be: I love the contrast the soft texture that replicates my opinion on this photo. The rest of these photos were really nostalgic and represents a painful moment in my life that eventually had a lesson to be learned but anyways this project was just not about where i live but about my life and although these photos aren't the best in the world they break rules such as innocuousness, cut offs etc they make me who i am as a photographer and a person.
